More December Reds, Bananas, a Coleman Lantern!
We fished Fourchon public beach today and caught a couple of Bull Reds again this weekend, and found some assorted other floatsom! We released both fish.
The first big red was the biggest, 70+ degrees, short sleeves, and suntan lotion in December! Ducktape on my index finger prevents superline from cutting finger when pendulum casting.
The duck head mojo we got beach combing a year ago, the fresh Cuban bananas and several milk coconuts came in on the strong southerly winds and tide!
The second big bull red was the smallest and still over 30 pounds!
This new lantern may have been adrift forever, it has brand new mantles filled with sand that have never been burned! Note the crowded beaches!!
