December Bull Reds, Shrimp and a Bull Croaker!
We fished Fourchon public beach and caught a couple of Bull Reds today, Bobby got a Big Bull Atlantic Croaker, and we got some small white shrimp with the castnet on the way down that are holed up in deep spots in the cold water. Its was a gloomy windy day with brief moments of sunshine. We released all 3 fish.
Bobby got this photo as we went down the beach after the redfish in the image below, thought sure it was a black drum, redfish usually run straight out, and drum move parallel to the beach!!
The first bull red went west down the beach toward Texas!
Biggest Atlantic Bull Croaker we ever saw, Bobby Jr. caught it!
This big bull was a drag screaming blast that ran repeatedly due south!
We got some small white shrimp with the cast net, only found in deep holes!
