Big Bull Redfish and a GPS Cache!
We fished Fourchon Public Beach today, Saturday! Some high winds and unfavorable conditions that cancelled a few weekends of fishing recently. Me and Bobby Jr. got a couple of big reds between 12 noon and 2 PM, besides placing Louisiana's second GPS geocache in the 2 mile long beach area with our Magellan 315 GPS unit.
The first drag screamer dragged me down the beach with him! First of two nice big bull redfish we caught just after noon. We photographed and released him.
The second fish was a smaller but tough fighting bull red, we got his picture and also released him to the disappointment of some folks! Come catch some!!
