Grand Isle, La. Trout and Bluefish!
We fished the same spot on the beach saturday morning, very little tide range this weekend meant slow fishing, released some small specks and got a few keepers along with a nice bluefish! The tide range jumps to over a foot next weekend, and the island will be filled with anglers for the 79th Annual Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo. We will fish the beach at Port Fourchon during the contest. Good luck and a safe weekend to all in town for the tournament.

We got a few nice fish, made new friends and had killer chocolate malts at Meagan's snow ball stand and goofy golf course on La-1 in the middle of the island.
