Ladies, Jacks and a Spanish Mac: 8-25-02
A stormy Sunday morning at Port Fourchon public beach.
We caught and released several record size ladyfish. What a ride on 10 pound Fireline! They run and jump and do it again and again. Real drag screamers and a blast to play.
The water was loaded with schools of hundreds of small Jackfish (above) and colorful Spanish Mackerel (below)
Spanish Macs and Jacks were darting in arcs at the water surface snipping at and cutting off our lures repeatedly! Lots of schools of mullet too.

AKA: Bayou Bonefish, Texas Tarpon! Another fun ride above! We released everything alive.
