Record Garfish On Zebco Rod and Reel!

I had the pleasure of bringing a couple with us fishing in June. We made a trip to Little Pecan Bayou off Mermentau River. On this outing Barbara Roy in the photo caught a monster Garfish on her new Zebco 888 rod & reel. It had 20 lb test line that came on it. She was fishing a gold spoon with no leader. Well to make a long story short. After 35 mins of wondering what was on the line we boated the fish. I never realized what the Louisiana record was, I just wanted people to see her fish. She was after a redfish. About 15 mins later she landed her first redfish! I would like to see it posted even though she has not gotten recogntion for the wonderful catch. Cajun Charlie
