Surf Conditions Saturday
The last few months have been the worst surf fishing winter months in several years. We tried again this weekend and fed the hardheards in the rolling surf so we went beachcombing and just played around. Conditions are totally controled by the wind, wind from the southeast through the southwest at 10 knots or over and expect rough, muddy surf conditions. We saw lots of surfers the last few months! They meet up at the Fourchon breakwater barges and also 2 miles to the west at the Bell Pass rock jetties. The rough cold water and the high winds are hard on the wildlife at this time of the year, some images below.
We fed the hardheads and went beachcombing!

Some rude seagulls played paintball with this bottlenose dolphin.
