Port Aransas, Big Texas Redfish

& Bobby,
Kennon & Steve Payne from San Antonio, Texas again. Thanks
for the web page with the fish we caught. We made another trip to the
South jetties in Port Aransas and got into some Bulls. My dad,
Walter, caught his first big red (43 inches) that day on my gear.
The next day when he was in town he went and bought the same
set-up I use. (13 foot Ugly Stick, Penn 9500 reel and 30 lb.
Trilene Big Game line) He's HOOKED! He caught and released two
more that day (37 & 39 inches).
Here are the photos and we thank you for sharing them with others
and giving us a place to do a little bragging. Sorry about them
being upside down and such. I'm not skilled enough on the
computer to flip them yet.
Here's my dad, Walter, with the first of his three big bulls. This one was 43 inches.
Here I am with the ones my wife and I caught. Mine was 42" and hers was 41".
This is my big girl that I was so proud of. A 42 inch beauty!
